 Maintaining & Updating Your Website
Nobody wants to visit your site and see exactly the same content
as the last time they visited. There is nothing worse than seeing
"... last updated September 2001."
It is vital that your content is
updated on a regular basis to ensure that you get repeat visitors
to your site. The aim is to get visitors to bookmark your site
and keep visiting.
Search Engines will also regularly visit and index sites with
frequently updated content.
The question is, who is going to update the site?
Basically you have three options.
1) Pay someone to update your site, such as mickwood.com,
on an adhoc basis.
2) Enter into a Site Maintenance Agreement (SMA) with mickwood.com
- we will make regular updates to your site.
3) Update the site yourself - or get someone in your organisation
to volunteer.
