Ways To Promote Your Site
Search engines are not the only way to promote your site.
- Make sure you access the detailed log files for your
site so you can see how visitors use your site. Use this information
to constantly improve your site. Your log files can be accessed via your account cPanel.
- Get your site known and gain respect by posting on newsgroups
and message boards. Help people out with answers to questions and
always reply with a signature (name, company name, description, contact
details).
- Use social media, especially Facebook, but be careful of spamming.
- Send out a newsletter (ask permission from the recipient before
you send it out).

Make your site a good source for information and links – get
people to bookmark it.
- Add your website to all your stationery including letterheads,
envelopes, business cards, order forms, invoices and receipts.
- Update your existing advertising (for example, Yellow
Pages) to include your website address.
- Make sure your
staff know about the site and recommend it to customers.
